Bestech Australia says its KP pore pressure gauge has dual structure construction consisting of the new model KPA-PA and KPB-PA, making them highly resistant to lateral pressure.
According to Bestech Australia, the KPA-PA pore pressure gauge is attached to a pile or diaphragm wall and can be buried in the ground to measure the pore water pressure, while the KPB-PA pore pressure gauge model is buried directly into a borehole to measure pore water pressure in bedrock.
Bestech Australia claims the KP pore pressure gauge operates in a 0 to 60°C temperature range.
The available capacities vary from 200kPa to 2MPa, with rated output at approximately 1mV/V. Each model uses a 40µm filter mesh, and is rated at IP68.
